testosterone and pregesterone

I'm on estridiol 2mg and a friend told me that I should also check into taking the two "terones" at some level. The entire hormone issue scares the he-- outta me and I'm so confused. Surgical menopause was the one thing that upset me the most and I absolutely hate it and I'm struggling horribly. Mood swings outta left field and sleeping with nite sweats every 20 mins is about to kill me. Dr changed meds yest but man o man. What are your thoughts ladies? what's working for you? I need help!!! I'm not sure. I had a hysto when I was 28 and now gettng ready to turn 50 in December and just entering perimenopause. I was taking progesterone cream with vivelle dot 1.0 but now I've stopped the progesterone (ran out) because Im having alot of other problems. The vivelle dot did help stop the night sweats and vaginal dryness. Maybe you need to take the vivelle dot> I'm going back to my new Gyno on Tuesday for a followup and pelvic exam and I have a n ear full for her as I'm really depressed and feel like my natureal testereone is taking over in my body because of the urges I have that are very bothersome to me. I hope you find your balance. I've been dealing with this going on two months and I'm really upset about having to deal with it at all. It is very distractful to me especially since I didn't have any hormonal urges (sex) like this in the past but now every day which is why I believe the Vivelle dot isn't working well for me. I hate this!
