Unhappy - Crashing fatigue Crashing fatigue

I have been so tired since i got a stomach flu in early April.... at first i thought i was fighting something viral, but now it is June and i am still fatigued ended up in hospital for 4 days and they are telling me it's anxiety and/or depression. I will admit I can be anxious at times but i am still trying recover from what i think is HORMONAL IMBALANCE. I ran myself into the ground and never really gave myself time to fully recover from the flu, but at the end of the first week with the flu I started with HOTFLASHES again, which i haven't had in 5 years. When I did get really run down I would be soooo fatigued, I could barely walk, also shivering cold. My hysterectomy was in 2002. The doctors have me on xanax now, which i want to come off of and go on some type of HRT just until my hormones get back on track, I really feel like that flu messed up my whole system, but enough is enough! any suggestions for a 60 year old?? Is HRT the way to go temporarily?
