3 Weeks post op, where do I start with hrt?
Almost three weeks post op, i guess i need to find out about the hrt. Whicho
one? Where do i start?

There really is no one right hrt. The right one is the one that works for you. Everyone is different, thus what works for me may not work for you.
I would suggest reading some of the articles at www.hormonejungle.com All the articles are printable so you can print them out and take them with you when you speak with your doctor.

First and foremost I would talk with your Dr. and go from there. That being said it never hurts to research and be informed when you see him. for me personally, I use Vivelle dot. It is bioidentical and not synthetic which I like and it is what my Dr. wanted to use. I have literally been using it since recovery room. I had some hotflashes in the first week but then the vivelle kicked in.

I probably should have mentioned that my primary Dr. did not want me to take HRT since I had endometriosis. I tried not using HRT for 2 months and I had severe hotflashesthe entire 2 months. Long story short Iam back on my vivelle now for about a month and doing better.
