Re: Migraines

I am not sure I can be of much help beyond saying I started with migraine like headaches at about 3 weeks post op. I have never been a headache sufferer and after that experience I don't want to be. After a week of these daily headaches I saw my family doctor who suggested I use Aleve instead of Tylenol or Advil which neither seemed able to touch the pain. He also prescribed Elavil at bed. It is an anti depressant also used to treat headaches and insomnia as I have that as well. Within a couple of days the headache stopped completely. I also found the Aleve worked better and much faster than the Tylenol or Advil had been. Aleve had the headache going away within an hour compared to the 5-6 hours with the other stuff. Now if only it worked better on my insomnia!

Sorry if I wasn't much help. I hope you find some relief soon.
