Making HRT choices

Please take the time to educate yourself on the variety of HRT that is available. There are many choices in estrogens, so please don't allow your doctor to just prescribe Premarin because that is what a lot of doctors do without even thinking.

Premarin is also expensive! Estradiol is a form of estrogen that we naturally have in our bodies and the generic version can be purchased from Walmart for $4.

Whether money is an issue or not, why use Premarin when you don't have to?
