Is Progesterone used after complete hysterectomy?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently in menopause and on bioidentical HRT (estradiol and progesterone).

After the total hysterectomy (ovaries removed also), which hormones are used?

What about testosterone?

I think I have low thyroid issues, but my doctor has tested and since the tests show I am normal, I can't get any support.

Very frustrating...

After this leg of my journey is over, I might be forced to go outside my healthcare plan to find a doctor that will look at my possible thyroid issues with me.

Hi Goldenlife!

I know that my doctor has me on a combination. A little estrogen, a little progesterone. I didn't start taking anything until my 4wk checkup. The hot flashes, night sweats, and irrationality was bad for me though. So far so good !
I know for each case it's different, depending on what's going on. etc.

So I might be able to just continue right through with some adjustments on the other side.

What about testosterone?

My libido is already very very low. I'm concerned about where I will be after everything is gone.
