no thyroid, lavh/bso. stopped HRT

I am 35 and I had to go off HRT 10 days ago due to major headaches and increase in blood pressure. Is anyone out there that has had a total thyroidectomy and had to go on HRT? I wanted to know if you had similar problems. So far I haven't had any hot flashes and I seem to be having less mood swings.

I didn't have a thyroidectomy, but have been on thyroid replacement for the last 13 years. I also use HRT. Balancing the HRT with thyroid replacement is a difficult task. For example, I felt awful on synthroid (or generic) with any form of estrogen. They canceled each other out. I was moody, irritable, gained weight, etc. Had low thyroid symptoms.

However, on Armour thyroid, I do not have this issue. Plus I use progesterone at the same time as estrogen replacement. The combination of the 3 works well for me.
