TLH: Surgery tomorrow, bowel prep almost done

Well, I'm hoping I'm at the tail end of my bowel prep process. And fellow sisters, when you feel the "tap" during this process, don't hesitate. Run as fast as you can to the bathroom if you have wandered too far, as I did earlier today. But honestly, all in all, it hasn't been too bad. I am actually relieved and feeling a bit calmer this evening. I am so thankful for all of the information on this website. I along with everyone else here, came to this site scared and very very anxious. After reading everyone's experiences, it has truly calmed my fears quite a bit and given me some really great tips. It also helped to see my daughter and son today, get a hug from them and have them pull the emergency release on the emotional roller coaster I was on. Thank you to everyone, good luck to my fellow sisters who are going to the castle tomorrow. I'll see you all there!!!!! Catch you on the post-op side.

I remember having the very strange feeling that I was the only person in the world having surgery back almost 7 years ago... Of course, I knew very well that I wasn't REALLY the only one, but it felt almost surreal as they wheeled me into the operating room.

Many positive thoughts headed your way! Just think, tomorrow at this time you'll be on the road to recovery. Get some good tonight.
