Vivelle Dot

I am only in my first week post op.

Can anyone tell me where the best place is to put the hormone dot? Doc said abdomen but said too that some women find it absorbs better in some places than others? Have you all found this to be true? Any advice?

How long does it take during the recovery process to settle into normal emotions and normal hormone levels?

Re: Vivelle Dot

It will take some trial and error before you figure out which is best for you. I am about 18 months post op and still regulating the location to stick it.

I find that the rear end absorbs at a much faster rate. Give it some time and be sure to chat with your doctor with any questions.

Best of luck!

Wink - Vivelle Dot Re: Vivelle Dot

The directions on where to put it are pretty easy. I put my on my lower abs (below the belly button) and switched sides when I replaced it.

Unfortunately, my insurance will no longer pay for the prescription. In addition to that one which was taken off of their formulary, they stopped paying for Climara (which I liked very much).
