What about you???

Doctor gave me estradiol 1mg but I've starting itching since taking it. Any one else itch???? Or could it be b/c I'm on it & I've been outside?? Any advice would help

Itching is a menopause (low estrogen) symptom. Were you on any other HRT before taking 1mg estradiol (oral tablet?)?

You may also just be experiencing the after-effects of surgery and anesthesia. I wouldn't worry about it... give it a few weeks and hopefully things might improve. Talk to your dr if it doesn't.

Believe me when I say to try something (current HRT) for at least 6 weeks before deciding if it's working... it takes that long and sometimes longer for your body to adjust to new HRT.

I'm assuming this is skin itching? If vaginal itching, ask your dr about prescribing vaginal estrogen supplementation too (estrace cream, premarin cream, or vagifem tablets).

Yes it's my arms & back.....I got a shot in the OR & then pills since I got out. I am gonna finish my bottle. Doctor did prescribe creme & patch today. I'm 3 weeks post-op as of yesterday.....that's for the advice about 6 weeks i will remember that
