"ghost" cramps at 10+ weeks post op??

I am having what feels like mild menstrual cramps in the area where my uterus was. I was told it may be due to scar tissue stretching, etc. But could it be "ghost" cramps? I know that may sound silly or stupid.

Thanks!

Hi Grace!

This is just a guess, but if you still have your ovaries, it's possible that those ovaries have 'woken up' from the surgery and may be ovulating. (?)

I don't even have my ovaries, and at times I get what feels like very, very mild menstral cramps. I'm thinking it may be that my insides are still adjusting from the surgery 11 weeks ago.

Perhaps another sister will be along shortly whose experience is more similar to yours, though....

Oh, India, NO NO NO NO NO!!!

This is absolutely NOT NOT NOT NOT what I implied AT ALL!!! I am so very sorry if that's the way my post sounded.

Personally, I feel that it would be best to keep ovaries that are healthy! I did not have that option because one of my ovaries had a large tumor, and the other was not functioning well, if at all.

Please tell me I've clarified myself now. Again, I apologize for giving the impression you got!
