Less than 48 hrs and a temperature

Sisters on Wednesday I was told I have boncitius and am on an antibiotic. Dr. says as long as I don't have a fever on Tuesday my surgery is a go. But my emotions are like a :yoyo2:
I need your that every thing will be fine at my 10:30 am
(Pacific Time) check-in and 12:30 pm surgery time. Pre-op surgical nurse said that if I have a fever they will more than likely reschedule until January. I am a Kindergarten teacher and have had 3 Lapos and D&Cs since 1992. Because of biopsy results, bleeding 45 out of 62 days, fibriods, endometriosis, and enlarged uterus Dr. says I can't wait more than 2 months. It's hard to get emotionally prepared and now I am in limbo as to if I will become a on Tuesday, Dec. 11. Love to All of You! Thanks for your support. Merry Christmas! Teachpre

I'm so sorry you have this to worry about...it's hard enough to prepare without the added worry of getting cancelled.

One thing, though...the sisters who have gotten ill prior to their surgeries and had them postponed, have all said that it worked out better in the end. You sure wouldn't want to have broncitis and be coughing up a storm with a fresh incision!!! OUCH!

Try not to worry too much. Everything usually happens for the best, whatever it may be. Follow your doctor's instructions, get PLENTY of rest and drink lots of fluids...and we'll keep our fingers crossed!!
