4 weeks into surgical menopause and no idea what to do!

I am almost one month post op for ovary removal, i am on 2mg Estrodial, and im taking One a Day Menopause along with extra calcium.

I have actually lost weight but have noticed my belly is still swollen, is this normal?

Any suggestions on natural options for libido, hot flashes, and trouble sleeping. I have no libido and have found it very hard to achieve the finish line during sex, im 31 so this is very stressful for me.

I do have no more pain which is amazing! I just wanted other opinions on things tha thave worked for them, any ideas would be so appreciated!

Thanks
Mandi

Re: 4 weeks into surgical menopause and no idea what to do!

I have floated the same boat, as have many. I am 5 mos post op and still have tenderness and swelling esp with activity. I use a creram that's all natural and acupauncture. They are the best for my libido. I also take 1 mg estridil and the one aday for menopuase.

Re: 4 weeks into surgical menopause and no idea what to do!

Wow, at one month postop you feel okay to live a normal life? I think it took a full 6 months post BSO for everything that was disturbed during the surgery to settle down, including the belly...

I was the same. Ovaries removed 9 years after hyster... I pushed too hard and it delayed recovery.
