Thank you ladies! You all made me feel alot better knowing I'm not alone. I have had other surgeries before but this one just seems so much more life changing I guess, I'm ready for it to be over with because I know I'll feel better. I'm so glad I came here!

Yes, I had my fit of hysterics a week ago -- oddly enough, it was night before my pre-op where I received a cancer diagnosis! Go figure ... I've been fine since then. I'm scheduled for Wed. 8/24 (delayed by one day, not my choice), but am focused on getting ready. Did shopping this weekend, now getting extra, extra rest. Hugs!
