Hi Elli123 I agree with you. Today I make 6 weeks post op. I am better but still feel very tired at times. I still have a bit of scar tissue in the middle of my incision. The incision feels very sore in the middle. I am experiencing pain on and off on the left side and I have a swelly belly. I am suppose to go back to work but I don't feel ready yet. I have to see my Dr. today and most likely he will clear me for bending and lifting so I will get started with that and being that I haven't done it in a while I am going to feel sore. I feel like taking the time to recover is important and although I won't be recovered 100% when I go back after the 8th week I won't feel so bad.

Hey! Will be thinking of you . . . your surgery is the day after mine now!!

That's a great point, it *is* "abdominal surgery" after all. I will have to remember that for when people I don't want to get into the finer details with ask me about it, lol. Like you, I'm not against giving more information if ppl are genuinely interested. But I'm sure there will be times when we just don't want to talk about it, again. (There will be for me, anyway!)

Take care.
