I was just on the site to visit as it's my 11th year anniversary, and happen to see this thread. Thought this horrible drug was long gone - I was part of a class action suit 9 years ago against this drug (insurance and personal costs were refunded) as it was recalled. I had a large fibroid and this was the thing then to reduce the size. After 3 months I was so miserable with the joint pain, sweating, headaches, etc. I asked my doctor about how soon it should work and she said 90% reduction by the 3-4 month mark (out of the 6) so they did an ultrasound and 5% reduction, so off the drug and my surgery within the week. If this drug is still on the market I sure hope they fixed it. What scared me after I read up on it was that in some cases the sideeffects did not always go away. Mine did thank goodness, but it took awhile. Good luck to you and all my best for your fast recovery once you have the surgery.
