My surgery is September 8th at 11 a.m. so I still have days to stress about it yet..
God speed to us all..lets get it over with.

the drink hands down! Unfortunately I have had experience on both ends ha ha
The drink is like rancid 7up and you are going for hours and hours until you are pooping clear water. By the time you are done you behind is nice and sore. It SUCKS! Your end is a bit uncomfortable as well, but I definitely prefer it to the rancid 7up.
Sorry if it's TMI and gross
I had to get 2 colonoscopies in the last 10 years and will never forget that first time.

Thank you....I too just can't wait for this to be over. I didn't have to do any prep. I wonder why some dr's make you do that and some don't. So very nervous...just hope I can sleep a little tonight!

Why do some Dr order bowel prep..and some not?

That's a good question..I had to have blood work, a C.T Scan and now drink 4 liters of this pineapple tasting stuff..YUCKO..Going to start it tomorrow afternoon..Not looking forward to any of it..don't know why they have to tear ya down so bad to do surgery..scary. GOOD LUCK.

I am playing the waiting game...head to hospital in 3.5 hours. Sitting around waiting, while not able to have anything to drink is not my norm. At least Regis/Kelly and The View are new today which should help pass the time!

Drinking my wonderful bowel prep..YUCKO..actually it hasn't been to bad..this time tomorrow it should all be over..Thanks for the good thoughts.
