MRI results

My pain specialist ordered MRIs last week. Today his nurse called me and said the pelvic MRI showed something going on in my uterus that could be causing my pain. That's all they said. What do you think that means? I'm picking up a copy of my MRI on the way to my appt with the uro/ gynecologist tomorrow. But now I'm of course freaking out wondering what they saw.

Re: MRI results

It could be a number of things such as fibroids. We could be guessing all day long and still be wrong so it is best to try to relax (I know, easier said than done) and wait till you have your appt. Good luck tomorrow.

Re: MRI results

Man I hate that "I know something you don't know" medical thing. I had an ultrasound done in July: the tech's eyes bulged out and she finished very quickly after taking lots of snaps of just one area. I knew she found something: she wasn't allowed to say what.

Twas giant painful fibroid.

Whatever you're dealing with, you'll know soon. Best wishes to you: the waiting really stinks.
