Back home and feeling great!!!

I just got back home today from the hospital and everything went really well. My Doctor was Amazing!!! My Fibroid was taking over my whole pelvic area and was able to get it out with no problem. My cuts are less then 1/4 inch and they are not bad at all!! I was worried for nothing!! The only thing I have is gas but when I lay down its better. I was able to have the peeing tube in while I was sleeping and they took it out before I waked. I also had a breathing tube in while I was sleeping and didnt even know it was there. Now to just recover and take it easy. I feel so much better and my tummy is more flatter and no pressure anymore. So glad that I did it and had it done!!

Re: Back home and feeling great!!!

So happy to hear you are doing great! I am in the same boat...huge fibroid. I'm concerned the amount of downtime will wreck havoc on my body as I too love to run and workout on a regular basis. I believe those who are health conscious do recover much faster. Looking forward to future posts on your progress. Do take care!!

Re: Back home and feeling great!!!

We are so glad you are doing great. Some days I am so excited to have the surgery since I am just tired of nothing fitting and feeling like a stuffed animal.

I then have bouts of terror and then I sign in and read everyone adventures and realize I am not the only one.

Keep us posted on your progress. Good luck to the girls having surgery this week.

I think I wear my hubby out talking about it daily. lol
