Just got the big H done and recovering

I am on here because my loving husband was doing his own research and he found the Hystersisters. 5 months was when my life turned upside down and went for the worst. I am only in my late 20's and was rushed into the hospital with extreme pelvic and side pain I was kept in the hospital for 6 days with no answers found I was given a Hyda scan, X rays, sono gram, MRI, CT scan, and a scope and nothing was found Dr thought I was crazy and wanted to send me home. One Surgeon felt something wasn't right he said I would benefit from a Exploratory surgery I knew this pain was only getting worse and I needed answers. I feared the worse and thought I had cancer they did the surgery and had to rush another surgeon in for removal of my right fallopian tube I had a fast growing cyst, my gallbladder was triple in size and pushing on my appendix so they did a removal of both of those organs. The Dr who was called in spoke to my family and with a firm voice said I want to see her in my office after she heals. I had missed a pap smear because I am a mother of 4 and I am a full time employee working crazy hrs because I manage a store. I walked around in pain for months just pushing it off thinking it was stress. I was called back into his office he said my uterus didn't look right he wanted to do more test and a biopsy I was ok with that and he also asked me to get the pap done that same day. Results were shocking causing me to have a scheduled hysterectomy done Sept 26th. The Biopsy taken weeks before the surgery was a mild but the surgical biopsy showed I had cancer in my uterus and it was 100% in the thickness of the wall and starting at 3 O'clock to 9 O'clock this had me on my knees in tears asking why at such a young age why me.
I am truly blessed with a family but I am young and this is really hard to deal with. I have the perfect husband who cares enough to find this site so I can connect with others who are going through the same thing.
Recovery is going well I was given my keys back and I am back on the road again. I check in at work and seen my 2nd family I call them.
I would love to be here as support to others who are in need and would love to get advice and feedback on how the after recovery process goes.
Thank you for your time.

Re: Just got the big H done and recovering

Don't give up it's scary of course and to hear Cancer it feels as if its the worse. I of course am young and I have children who I adore so much and when they told me I hit the ground, but I stood up and made the best decision that I could have ever made in my life time.
They were able to get everything and I am cancer free no chemo needed and of course I will need to continue to still receive close testing to make sure this doesn't come back, but I am not thinking about if its going to come back I am looking forward and Thanking God I am alive.
I feel as if my Dr was my angel he saved my life twice if it wasn't for him I prob would have had full blown cancer and never knew it.
I will be praying for you and your results don't give up and a fast recover please keep in contact and let me know if you need any answers to your recovery questions.
God be with you through this time of need . .
