2 fleets in a pack and I only need one . . . hmmmm . . .

Surgery day (I've been calling it UE day -- Uterus Eviction day!) is this Wednesday!! My pre-op orders include ONE fleets enema the night before surgery.

The drugstore sells them in packs of two.

So I wonder what to do with the second one . . . use it to water my plants? To baste the Thanksgiving turkey? As a super-mega-powered ear-wax flusher? Maybe a super-small fire extinguisher (for non-grease and non-electrical fires only, of course!)? Maybe I could replace the fluid with perfume and use it as a "spray" bottle!

Maybe I could sell it on eBay. Or give it away on Freecycle.

Be ware of my next yard sale!! BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Sister,

You are soooo crazy. LOL. That is so hilarious. I was thinking the same thing. What are they thinking? Do people really need to use both? Come on. People do not like using these things on a regular basis, so what is with the 2 pack?

I would suggest ebay....maybe you could get your money back...HAHAHAHA It's so nice to be able to share a good laugh and keep the mood up prior to surgery.

Take care.

LOL Tabitha!! Too bad we didn't plan this out better, we could have gone in together and "split" a pack! lmao

(oh my gosh . . . the day after tomorrow! I have to keep laughing or I'm gonna cry!! hee hee hee)

Yeah, I have to laugh too, thankfully my drug store sells them in packs of 1. I love your ideas to do with the extra. Thank you for the giggle.

Re: 2 fleets in a pack and I only need one . . . hmmmm . . .

My surgery is tomorrow. No enemas, but I did just guzzle a delicious fizzy bottle of magnesium citrate. Actually, the lemon-lime flavor from Target is genuinely not that awful: not my beverage of choice after this, but a pleasant surprise nonetheless.

My mom is staying with me for post-surgery care, but I've sent her out to watch a nice long movie this afternoon.

Now, I just have to sit back and wait for the magic to happen....

Re: 2 fleets in a pack and I only need one . . . hmmmm . . .

Just got back form all of my Pre-Op testing, chest x-ray, tons of blood work, EKG and talked about post care.

They did not mention anything about enemas just not to eat after midnight night before.

Seems like the minute I leave the hospital I have a thousand questions.

I will be thinking of you this week and you will be in my prays.

Yummmm, mag citrate on the rocks, with a twist?!?

Have fun with the "magic", Turanga! At least it's not mineral oil!

machchic -- no worries, not every doctor orders pre-op bowel prep. It seems to be whatever the doctor's preference is. Mine ordered one enema the night before, and then nothing to eat after midnight and only water to drink until four hours prior to surgery.

Best wishes to all!

It's a good thing you didn't get those enema's at Costco.... Just think of the good times with like a 6 pack or something.

Ps...the magic. It happens not at all for several hours, then very, VERY quickly.
