Re: Question

I only have one ovary left so they are keeping it and the tube ( I think) but I have had my tubes tied so I am really not sure. I would google it and find out or try checking on this very imformative website. If i find out the anwser for you I will pass it on (I work in a Doctor's office).

Re: Question

I'm not sure, but I recommend looking it up. My doc is taking both tubes, but leaving my overies if they are healthy.

Re: Question

As I am new I had to look up what LAVH ment after reading that I can reply to you.
As far as I understand the sperm needs to travel through your cervix into your uterus then into your tubes.
So with what you are having there is no way a sperm could make its way there.
I hope this helps Goodluck and take care

Re: Question

Yeah...sperm will be unable to go anywhere so you don't have to worry about abnormal types of pregnancy.

I came home the same day and did just fine. I was nervous about it beforehand but I was glad I came home the same day. I was much more relaxed at home and it felt good to be in my own bed!!

Good luck!!

Re: Question

That's right. I should of know that seeing I am having the same procedure on the same day. Silly me. Didn't think about it till this morning. Because of the vaginal cuff, there will be no more "access" for the sperm.
