Pre-op done.

Ok. The pre-op is done. Got my bloodwork done today and now have to wear a bracelet for the week. Didn't really like that but totally understand why. I feel like I am ready. Have all my ducks in a row and now just have to wait till next tuesday. I am actually looking forward to taking the 4 weeks off of work!! Wish I was going somewhere else besides the hospital though .

Having my pre-op tomorrow. Not even sure all the details of my surgery. (same day as you 9/20/11). Going to ask alot of questions. Good luck on your surgery.

My pre op is tomorrow. I have a huge list of question for the doctor since I have no idea at all what is going to happen. After the doctor, I have to drive to the hospital to get "tests" that could take up to 2 hours. Not sure which tests besides blood. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

My surgery is 9/20, too. Looking forward to having that non-stop bleeding finally stop. At least I hope it will stop. I have no idea what will happen.

It should stop as long as you are getting rid of the cervix. Just make sure to ask all of your questions. A good surgeon will take the time to answer all of them in a way that you can understand. Good luck!!

I had my preop yesterday. I met with my doc, got my questions answered and then drove across the street to the hospital for the bloodwork and EKG. The later only took about 30 minutes total and that includes my wait time. I told the nurse, this was the most painless part of the whole process I have been through thus far.

did my pre op yesterday...everything went well, pretty much was told 11 weeks ago what was going to be happening..I will be happy to have this over and done with so I can get back to normal, whatever that is :-). good luck to us all.....
