pre ops over!

Hi ladies,

I just wanted to share my good news! FINALLY got a new surgeon...third one but i think that THIS is the one that god was leading me to the entire time..she is in a word AMAZING! let me give yall a lil back history on me.

I have adenomyosis, suspected endo, hyper something where my lining is REALLY thick, severe extended bleeding, ovarian cysts and im pumping out 3-4 eggs each ovary EVERY month so i have hormonal migrains and hormome fluctuation problems. my periods have me bedridden for at least 2 days a month if not more. Chronic pelvic and lower back pain. Ive tried everything short of ablation.

I was scheduled for a hyst aug 17th but my doc quit and im ok with that now. anyway he was going t do the surgery but you could tell he really didnt want to because he had a problem with larger women. anyway i have crawled up my gyns office arse and set up camp cuz they wer blowing me off about the new surgery and giving me a bunch of bs. I had the mirena iud inserted im march of this year as the last ditch effort to make things better but i had it removed 3 months later. i just want to insert here that MY mirena expierence was not normal i know lots of women who have it and it is wonderful for them!

moving on....my iud was apparently not put in properly. I had a botched removal...it was partially embedded and she...ripped it out...with chunks of me as well :-( well she wont say she messed up but yea. anyway since the i have had increasing pain on that right side to the point where i have been in the er 2 i the last week and i can no longer work. what ever is going on is contained in my uterus and when they remove it i will be good but until then im in chronic sever pain...modified bed rest :-(

my first surgeon well im glad hes not doing it he wanted to do a totall abdominal hyst saying that i had no other options and he wouldnt listen to anything i had to say...my opinions or questions on what i wanted done or my options..told me i was to...large...for a laproscopic surgery. well well my new surgeon (amazing) totally different.! says im a perfect canidate for lap. answered all my quesitons...listened to me...awesome. even shared my bladder concerns and im seeing a uriologist for a bladder tack as well! :-) so now...6 months later...from when this entire fiasco started i am on the docket for a total divinci laproscopic hysterectomy with a bladder tack :-)

I am completely over the moon! i really needed this positivity things have been so rough and and uphill battle.. i hurt but ****.....im happy :-)

i know this is a long post but i wanted others to know that there is hope! you are your biggest advocate! you ladies are the best :-) so yea im just happy..im ready for my crown!!!! (doing my happy dance)
