Re: Surgery cancelled

I'm so sorry, I was so scared they would do that to me too after the first cancelation. Hopefully they will be able to get you in next week. You'll be well prepaired this next time.

Good kuck, I'll be thinking of you.

Re: Surgery cancelled

How upsetting and unprofessional of that hospital. I would think there is a number of places your could write with your complaints. Good luck with the surgery when it does happen.

Re: Surgery cancelled

Is it possible the the bowel prep I did on Thursday is still affecting me? I have had diarrhea since Friday night, stayed inside all weekend - just can't deal with anything right now. When I took the dogs to the park today, after 30 min I had to rush to the car to get myself to a bathroom.

I am so worried that they will tell me tomorrow I have to go back to work and surgery won't happen for a while - and to boot I started my period the day after the planned surgery date and popping pills again every 6h to control the bleeding.
Ok - done whining for now.

Re: Surgery cancelled

That's really too bad for you. I hope that you get in ASAP and start mending. Wishing you the best and big hugs.

Re: Surgery cancelled

And the waiting continues ...
Just called my doc's office and was told to hang tight and that they would be giving me a call back within the next 2h.
Sounds like they are trying hard to get me in this week.

I never would have thought I would be pushing to have surgery done - yikes.

Re: Surgery cancelled

Got my new surgery date
September 30 at 11am and my doc put me on sick leave until then.
Good thing is that I might not have to do the whole bowel prep thing all over - maybe just a fast from 6 pm on the day before surgery.
I am the 2nd surgery of the day so there should be no way of me getting bumped again - one would hope.

Now I got 1.5 weeks to mess up my house again - and I been eating my recovery rations so cleaning and shopping all over again next week
