10 hours and counting...

I think that the waiting is the hardest to deal with... thought this bowel enema was horrible- but it has gotten better. Now just ready to get this over and live with the results. Nerves are working overtime and will be leaving to go in 7hrs... Lord... please give me strength to get through this...want to run away...

Re: 10 hours and counting...

Hi Dawn,

The Lord is with you. Try not to be afraid sweetie. Just put your mind at ease. You will be just fine. Everyone tomorrow will be there to help. Try to get some sleep tonight. I had my hyst Feb 15 and now at 7 months I feel really great!

I will keep you in prayer.

Hugs,
Suzy

Re: 10 hours and counting...

I am one year post-op tomorrow. It was an emotional and physical journey but in a few short months this will all be a distant memory. You are in my prayers.

I agree with Suzy get some sleep!

Re: 10 hours and counting...

Oh, sweetie you're almost there. I'm praying for you to rest and to have peace for tomorrow! My surgery was 09/12 , and recovery has been a breeze compared to the waiting beforehand. My surgery was scheduled for 8:30am, with arrival time of 6:30. Since I live 2 hrs. from my "castle", I had to get up at 3:30am. I couldn't sleep, and I ended up going to bed around midnight (UGH). I was exhausted, but I was afraid to take anything to help me sleep. Just know tomorrow you will be in many prayers!
