New here an need hrt help

I had tlh/oopherectomy 15 weeks ago.. I was started on the pill then the patch but the patch was causing extreme leg and hip pain. I was told to stop that and did three weeks ago. I was given the ring now and havent started it yet. Im sick of how i feel on all the stuff in it. I have had the best three days in a year and half. I know i need to be on hrt but i want to try homeopathy or something else. Im 27 by the way. I want to do everything possible to help myself out. How do i go about finding info on his or even talking to my doctor about it. I need help. Is anyone doing the same??

It takes about 6 weeks for our bodies to adjust to a new source of estrogen and get the full effects of that new source and dose. If you make changes any more often than that, you may be confusing your symptoms, not knowing if they are from your current source, or the previous one.

The next most important thing, after learning as much as you can about your options, is to find a Dr who is willing to work with you to find what is best for you, not for most of his/her patients. HRT is not a one size fits all.

It is a jungle, but we are here to help you through it. If you have any more questions, we will try to help you find the answers and share our experiences.
