Painful wake up call

Friday can't come soon enough. The last 3 or 4 days hadn't been too bad, and I was starting to think about putting the surgery date off. It's a very inconvenient time with work and my boss has been none too happy about it.

Then this morning on my drive into work the pain hit me so hard I had go pull over. DH had to pick me up on the side of the road and drive me home. Talk about a wake up call! I guess I needed a reminder that my surgery is needed. But did my body have to do it with such force?

Re: Painful wake up call

I'm sorry your body started reminding you of your upcoming surgery. I hope you're feeling better and you have a successful surgery on Friday! Hang in there!

Re: Painful wake up call

I had almost the EXACT same thing happen! My surgery is next Wednesday, but I actually had a "normal" start to my cycle. I started to wonder if I should postpone, but yesterday and today have been awful! We had to leave a restaurant in a rush because of my flooding last evening, then today I had to pull over and be sick on the side of the road because of my horrible cramps. Now more clots, flooding, and getting dizzy. Called hubby to come home and pick up boys when they are done at school. I feel useless!

Re: Painful wake up call

I can totally relate also! This last period started off not so bad, then hit me with a vengeance, especially without being able to take any advil. I also relate on the work/boss situation. Seems like companies are so uncaring.
