I tested high on RF factor and ANA but normal on others. I dont meet the 7 criteria factors for an absolute "you have RA" diagnosis but I have been referred to a Rheumatologist. LOL It's in Dec. One Doc in town. I have been journaling symptoms and chatting with others on RA Warrior web site , and I know I have it, even it all these docs don't yet. It comes and goes so I know I am in the very early stages. Been fairly pain free for two months. Today some knuckles aches and my elbow. Stinks! And the drugs to put the disease in remission are almost as bad as the disease.
BUt, I can handle only one crisis at a time so for now, I am working thru this upcoming hysterectomy. In dec, I'll deal with RA and all the decisions I'll have to make regarding that!

Re: Hystersisters Journals

I dont have surgery for 5 weeks, but I have already started my journal. Writing all my fears, things I have learned, put a copy of my questions for my doctor, surgeon and anethesologist (SP?) and plan to continue it on right thru to my 'better days'. This way I can refer back to my journal. ITS a good stress reliever as well.
