Fibroids pushing Uterus into Bladder and Heavy Bleeding

Hi All, Glad to find this place, Surgery scheduled 10-17 for LSH here to seek advice from those who may have "been their done that" it's always nice to be well educated, and prepared. Any advice as to what to expect, post-op what to expect, let me know. Healing? Pain? Do's and Don'ts ?

Re: Fibroids pushing Uterus into Bladder and Heavy Bleeding

Hi! I had an LSH on 9/14, kept cervix and both ovaries. It all went much more smoothly than I thought it would. I'm getting ready to go back to work this week. What specifically are you wondering about?

Greetings Churchlady,

Well I am not an expert or a but I can certainly try to let you know my personal experiences. I see that you are having a scope hyst. so thats good from what I understand its less invasive and takes less time to heal (hopefully) Pain level well everyone is different but I would ask for an epideral to help with pain control after as you can press the button yourself and control how much you need . Soreness well I have post op 12 days and still have a lot BUT i did have an abdominal hyst. So its more complicated. Listen to what the says about not doing to much and make sure to listen to your body . It will tell you when you are doing too much. Try to walk a little each day even if you do not feel like it, as it helps in the long run. Lets just a little of what I have learned feel free to message me or add me as a friend if you need ANYTHING>

PS. I also had HUGE and MANY fibriods and my uterus was pressing on my bladder as well. I know that is NO FUN

Best wishe,
