Does your Climara patch "work" for full week?

I know they are 7 day patches - I change mine every Sunday. What I'm noticing is that I turn into a "witch" after 4 days of placing my new patch - by Thursday. I've noticed this the last 2 wks.

Does anybody change their patches more frequently then once a wk?

I never had to change mine until the 7th day. It seemed to work the entire time. The only problem I had with it was getting it to stick for the entire 7 days. I ended up switching to the Vivelle dot, which is much smaller and has to be changed every 3 1/2 days.

Yes, I had it written that way but I have also changed it at 3- 3 1/2 days if I had to. I get like you--mentally I get teary, hate the world, depressed and physically I have aches and pains--noticeably muscle and joint aches that "miraculously" get better when a new patch is put on.hmmm... no patch I ever tried lasted me the full time, but I need alot of estrogen and use it up quickly esp. if I have been physically active or stressed. And patches are the only hrt I feel good on.
