Off to the Castle

Well today is the big day and I am waiting for my ride to get here to take me to the hospital. My surgery is scheduled for 7:30 this morning. Never thought this day would get here. I am tired, groggy, hungry, and nervous yet hopeful. Ready to get this show on the road. See you on the other side!!

My surgery is also today at 9. I am so looking forward to starting the next chapter of my life. One with a great deal less pain. I am hoping that your surgery goes well and that you have a pain-free recovery.

Re: Off to the Castle

Well I am back home everybody. Your well wishes and prayers meant a lot. Surgery went well and know I am on to the hard part - recovery! Surprisingly I am not in much pain. Just very sore and feeling some abdominal pressure. Am taking it very easy. Ended up having both tubes removed, one ovary - as it turned out to have a lot of endo on it that I didnt know I had, and my cervix as well. I guess I should post my progress on the post-op forum as well. Back to the recliner I go!
P.S. Thanks chryvine, kbid, beckeboo, & divastar. Trekkie I hope your surgery went well and beckyeee.. the very best of luck to you tomorrow. You will be fine. The waiting IS the hardest part.
