Chronic fatigue syndrome anyone?
Hi all
I read old posts on this topic w search but they were pretty old . I've had cfs for 11yrs. Hoping this surgery when I recover might help slightly w fatigue n quality of life. Prob also have fibromyalgia-read what to tell doc for that but my cfs is much worse. How long will I really be down?
Ty anyone else facing this... At least I don't have as far to go back up for baseline!

Re: Chronic fatigue syndrome anyone?
Hi Sammer, and yes I too have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. Lately I have been to tired I just fall asleep at the drop of a hat. I am so very tired, but my ONC/GYN said he may not be able to do anything about this. I have an appointment with him on Tuesday 10/11 so I will ask him in more detail than. I have had these symptons for over 15 years so I truly know what your dealing with. And I also suffer from Partial Complex Seizures but have not had a seizure in over 7 years. My question is besides having to have TAH/BSO scheduled for 11/7 does my problem have something to do also with my being so tired. Like you I have not been able to find any forums dealing with this issue. I wish you the best and will post anything I find out.

Re: Chronic fatigue syndrome anyone?
I have CFS to have had it about 20 years. The hysterectomy has helped my quality of life because I am not in horrible pain or bleeding but I have not noticed a change in CFS but I havent really been thinking about it to much.

Re: Chronic fatigue syndrome anyone?
Hi Sammer. I have an appointment on Tuesday with my ONC/GYN and I will be thanking about you. Please let me know when you are feeling better how your doing. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I am not sure, but we both maybe tired more due to our Fibromyalgia Syndrome.

Hi GuGu,
Thanks for your prayers - I'll keep you in mine too and write when I am able.....I think you may be right that recovery will be a bit longer for those of us with cfs/fms.......but you never know!
