Testing tomorrow..

i am having blood-work tomorrow .. what if i start my period right before my surgery(oct the 12th) will they still be able to do it? im so scared im so use to cooking and cleaning and really every thing .i dont have family near by to really help me post-op .will i be able to cook and clean right afterwords or how long should i wait ? any help will be great....thanks

I suggest freezing some meals before your surgery and stocking up on things that are easy to prepare. I wasn't able to cook for about two weeks. And no cleaning for a while. Laundry, vacuuming and bending over are big no-no's. Do what you can to prepare ahead of time and after your surgery just let the dust sit for a while.

Ask you doctor about taking a hormone to stop a period.
read up on the post op checklists, so you know what to expect post surgery.
