Stomach pillow? (Lighter foam stuffed or denser feather?)

Tomorrow is surgery. Eek!

But I'm trying to get everything last-minute ready to go. And maybe I'm over thinking this but I'm trying to figure out what throw pillow to grab for the car ride home.

I have ones that are lighter and filled with foam stuffing. I also have ones that are denser, heavier and have more down fill.

Which would be better? Would the less weight be better or is more weight better? The down ones can be "smooshed" more if you wrap your arms around them.

Appreciate thoughts!

Re: Stomach pillow? (Lighter foam stuffed or denser feather?)

Hi there

Really you want anything that you feel will protect your tummy from the seatbelt. For me, I just used a towel and that worked well for me.

I would suggest you don't have anything too rigid that may inhibit the seatbelt from working properly in the awful event that it may be needed.

Something soft and slim that can sit between tummy and seatbelt I would think would be a good plan.

Whichever makes you comfortable....the fluffier pillows worked for me, but hubby ended up getting me a pillow pet from Walmart and it was perfect!

A flat pillow is my suggestion. I mean, not a thick bulky one.
