I don't know what to do I just got a call from one of the many people I've talked to and they r just verfing my ins I've just paid $300.00 to the doc and have to pay the same amount Wednesday when I got in for surgery why did they make me pay all that if they haven't even verified ins yet.I always think of the worse I thought the precert happened when they first schedul my surgery, I'm stressing bad now that they want approve it before Wednesday and I'll have to postpone. I'm in such pain I want to cry dear lord help me trow this I don't think I can handle any more bad news.. is it to close to time for a precert being my surgery is Wednesday ..

Every situation and insurance is different, but I did have to pay to total of $600 to my doctor prior to the surgery. After he was paid by the insurance company, he reimbursed me. However, my insurance company approved my surgery quickly with no problems.

This is a stressful time for women, and it always bugs me that some agents and even medical staff make things more challenging than they should be. If there is any question at all, though, about your insurance verification, you need to stay on top of it and keep after them until you get the answers you need.

I agree with the other sister. Insurances are each different, and policies inside insurances are different. Sometimes you have to pay so much out initially before things are covered, and sometimes the doctors know what portion of the bill the insurance won't cover and require payment from you. I know it is stressful, as you have enough to think about with the surgery coming up. Hang in there as best you can. The women on this site understand what you are going through.

Thanks y'all I just am stressing I need this so bad that I'm going to beg these people if they say no I hope if explain my story to them they will understand and set up payments since I'm paying 600 down. I'm praying and I know god will aanswer my prayer cause he know what us lady's go trough every day pain bleeding.I'm so happy I found y'all. Thanks for listening to me vent, cry and everything..
