I was prescribed misoprostol to soften my cervix prior to endometrial biopsy, 2 orally...side effect was diarrhea, but only of biblical proportions. Apparently I have some stenosis of the cervix. Then another round proior to insertion of mirena today...only 1 orally. Not so bad, some cramping, but no where near the levels of the biopsy time. He cut the script in half so I wouldn't be so sick. I was told to expect some cramping for a few days...but wow. I'm hoping this eases up cuz the dialation was so not pleasant and I'm hoping to not go there again any time soon.
