Re: Do I have to take my toe nail polish off?

Thanks for the explanation, canadiancatluvr!

Is polish on toenails is going to affect anything?

Since I'm having a LAVH tomorrow, i have kept my fingernails polish-free and totally trimmed.

Keeping my fingers crossed that they allow my feet to look a little pretty

Hey Mellydowns

I had to laugh when I read your post. I looked down at my feet in the shower yesterday and wondered the same thing - thinking a pedicure would be just the ticket before surgery. Then I thought to myself, "Don't you have enough to think about without adding something as silly as toes?"

But you know, anything that helps make you smile isn't silly. A pre-surgery pampering is now on my agenda. My fingers will be polish free, but I suspect, unless told otherwise, my toes will sparkle!

Oh - before I forget - thanks to canadiancatluvr for the fingernail explanation.

Re: Do I have to take my toe nail polish off?

I have been getting my nails done for so long that I don't even want my lady to take them off. I just decided that I will just do a french and french on my toes. I wanna feel pretty when I get done!

When I had my ablation back in May they didn't say anything about my fingernails thank goodness. But then again I was sent from the doctors office that morning straight to the hospital so it's not like I would have had time anyways!

Good luck Melly!
