Phantom menstural cycle 4 years post op

I wondered if anyone has come across this. I am nearly four years post op, kept my ovaries and cervix. I had no problems at all until a few months ago when I started to have strange cycles. I can only explain it as if it is a menstural cycle without a bleed. Every 25-28 days I get period type cramps with a clear stringy dischard, like an ovulation discharge. This lasts for a few days and the cramps are really painful. I have seen my doctor and two practice nurses about this but they do not seen concerned and think it could either be the start of the menopause or stress related. I would welcome any feedback on this as it does concern me.

Thank you

If you kept your ovaries and they are working, it would not be unusual to have PMS type symptoms.
