First official panic attack

Tomorrow will make my 10 day mark... I was sitting here at work, got dizzy, fuzzy headed and started profusely sweating..I called my husband who thought I was having a heart attack. It passed after a few minutes, but it scared me...I will just be glad when I am on the other side of this...

Re: First official panic attack

Oh right now, my heart is beating out of my chest and I feel short of breath....Just ready for all this to be over with..I don't wanna call my doc cause I don't want them to think I am one of those people looking for meds. (as we have a huge problem with that in Florida) and refuse to see me anymore....

Re: First official panic attack

Breath in and breath out. I'm not too far removed from my own 10 day mark. I'm currently 6 day post op. The best advice I was given was to get out of my head and into my heart. Slow deep breaths work really well. That and a few good friends to talk too. The anticipation of surgery was far worse then the actual procedure. So just breath. Every thing will be okay. (((hugs)))
