Hyster at young age removing ovary

I am 30 years old and this will be my sixth surgery, and hopefully the final. I had my left ovary, tube and part of my uterus removed at the age of 12, by 18 had my uterus burned inside and out twice for endo, by 21 had uterus and bladder fused from endo, so had to get this taken care of, also had gallbladder removed. Now I am going for a hyster and the doc said that the ovary needs to go too, he said it will put me in menopause right away, I'm scarred of the person I may become, that I will have nasty mood swings.

I am lucky enough to have two children, we didn't want anymore than that. Is there anyone else on here in the same boat?
