Re: Tired and not anemic

I have fibroids as well. Two golfballs and two smaller ones. Mine are located in places that make me feel like I have been kicked in the lower back repeatedly. When I have my period they press on my bowel/bladder which sucks more. I am on cyklokapron so am not anemic but I feel like I have been exhausted for five straight years now. I think any time your body is fighting itself it wears you out. It definitely seems to be one of the common complaints. Love the fruit analogy as well. It is somehow nicer than the sports analogy!

Re: Tired and not anemic

3 golf balls. Always tired. I'm taking iron now which is helping a lot. I now manage to sleep about 8 hrs and no naps. I still go lie down for a bit in the afternoon but usually don't sleep. That's a huge improvement over 11 hrs and a couple hours of naps.
