Im getting a little nervous

Hello,

Well two more days to go for my TAH/BSO. I'm taking a break at work and I am having a hard time focusing. I have a zillion things to do in two days. I am the only employee at the ministry where I work. We do have some volunteers. I have a home based gift basket business and am trying to get out the last of the Christmas orders. I am trying to prepare both my home and my job. Its hard and I'm getting frazzled. Im also starting to get nervous about the surgery. I know it will be ok and that the Lord is with me, but still I just worry about how I will feel after. I am so used to going 100 miles an hour and I enjoy it. I just ask that you all keep me in your prayers, as I will you. Thanks for letting me get that out of my system. I already feel a little bit better.

God Bless

Im getting a little nervous

I know what you mean about loving to go 100 miles an hour. I know you are going to do just fine. It may be hard for you to rest and take it easy, but just know that the pay off in the end will be well worth it and will enable you to get back to your normal life.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers! You are in the very worst time of this whole thing right now. The waiting and the anticipation are the worst. But, 2 days to go and you'll be on your way!

s, ers, and s !

Im getting a little nervous

Hi sglover,
I'll be thinking of you tommorow when I also get to go and have my TAH. Most of the little nerves that are acting up for me right now, are because I don't really have much Hospital experience. I had one surgery at the age of ten for my appendix. Yeah I know I spelled it wrong, just wanted to see if you were paying attention. LOL I'm just looking forward to recovery. I've gotten a lot of usefull advice on here. Well good luck to you.
to a speedy recovery.
God Bless
Sue

Remember that the Lord promises to never leave you nor forsake you. What a
beautiful promise for you to hold on to. I will be praying for you as I'm sure others will
and you will be thanking God in the not to distant future for how good you will finally
be feeling again

Tomorow is the day

My first time here, I'v been reading the postings. I'm 50yrs old as of yesterday having very heavy periods lots of clotting plus serveral fibroids two very large ones. Tomorrow is my big day, not sure if it's going to be a TAH or a TLH (not sure if thats right) plus a hernia repair. Could you tell me how long the hospital stay is. I have tons of questions, but I'm at work, so when I get home I'll ask more, plus it will keep my mind off tomorrow.

Hi Rosemary! I'm glad you finally posted. Your hospital stay will be 2-4 days with a TAH and 1-3 with a TVH. The initial recovery period for both is 4-8 weeks.

Be sure to visit the chat room tonight also if you have time!

blessings!

I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry. Remember you are not superwoman and cannot do everything. I remember frantically trying to get so many things done. We had a blizzard the entire three days before my surgery. I could not get to work so was three days behind before I even went to the castle. You'll be fine! Get some rest and everything will fall into place.

Best to you.

Thank you ladies for all your good wishes and prayers.

I will be so happy when this is all over with and I can be there for someone else. I am going to try to get as much rest as I can and try to enjoy it! My prayers and good wishes go out to all of you having your surgery tommorrow also!

Blessings,

Shari
