Ready

Well...I was totally surprised when I went to pre ops yesterday and today. NO BOWEL PREP, no nail polish restriction, no nothing. Just show up. I was pleasantly surprised. I go in at 5 am.....YAY! Good luck ladies. Will be sure to come back and share my experience.

Re: Ready

I had my LAVH yesterday. Same thing no bowel prep or restrictions on nail polish. I'm home already, less then 24 hours after surgery. I was scheduled to stay for 2 days but my roommate was driving me insane, I don't know how the nurses could have that much patience. My rules for coming home were that I was passing gas, could pee on my own and kept a solid meal down. I never ate cheerios, banana bread and cheese so fast in my life...lol.

Good luck tomorrow, if you have any questions feel free to ask. I have a post in the post-op updates if you want to read it to see exactly what I went through since yesterday. Nothing scary it was all good.
