Hi bedofroses, I had my surgery on 2/11/11. Had 3 nights in hosp, VH kept both ovaries. Minimal bleeding, off all pain meds day 4, coping quite wel at this stage, have a great hubby who is helping though. I am from Australia, no bowel prep, pre op, no shaving. Catheter and vaginal drain out the next morning. Going to toilet no probs, although no urge to pee as yet, just go when tummy gets uncomfortable. Hope your urgery went well. Aussie lady.
