Re: Hair removal or not?

I let them do what needed to be done. I have a heavy hairline from belly button to my.... well ummm.... personal hair that they shaved but none of my personal hair were gone.
I would let them shave what they need to.

Re: Hair removal or not?

The reason I chose to do it myself a couple of days in advance was because shaving gives me a rash, so I used the hair removal cream I used for underarms. And sometimes if I leave it on too long I get an irritation.

That gave the skin a day or so to settle down if necessary before they started cutting me open!

Re: Hair removal or not?

I decided to have my regular bikini wax several days before. I wanted to make sure that "business" was taken care of.

Re: Hair removal or not?

I have scheduled laser removal for my bikini line this weekend, 2 weeks prior to my hysterectomy. I've got sensitive skin and don't want to deal with rash, ingrown hairs, and itchiness along the incision area post op.
