Regardless of the type of surgery you have....good luck!!!!
I forgot to ask you if you had any pain due to your adhesions?? I have lower back pain a lot, not sure what that is from, maybe endo or adhesions?

There is always that chance you may end up full abdominal but don't fret too bad, I am 12 days post abdominal and although I am stiff and sore yet, I do not have my monthly migraine and cramps, so all is well.....wishing you all the best!
I forgot to ask you if you had any pain due to your adhesions? Or is it something we don't know until the Dr. gets in there?? Hugs.

Re: Adhesions after C-Sections??

I did have lots of pain from my adhesions. The ultra sound showed the uterus stuck to my back so I knew going in it would be a lot of work for the surgeon.
I had 1 botched c-section and 2 others after.

Re: Adhesions after C-Sections??

I'd had 2 C-sections, an open tummy oophorectomy, my tubes totally removed and seven laparoscopies in the 25 years prior to my hyster 3 days ago. There were plenty of adhesions and scar tissue - remaining ovary stuck to uterus etc etc... My surgeon told me there was a 20% chance I would need a TAH, but he managed to get everything out laparoscopically and I'm feeling darn good. My uterus was the size of a 12wk pregnancy with 4 fibroids, 2 polyps, and adenomyosis.

Have faith - and ask EVERYONE you know to send positive vibes for keyhole surgery. It worked for me Good luck!
