ISO Recovery Room/Bed Advice

Hello all... I'm scheduled for TLH/RSO (possible open) (had LSO years ago) on Dec 5th. I am having a little trouble planning my recovery room with my husband. Looking for some HysterSisters advice! I've read some of the articles but they don't specifically say sleep alone. Since my mother-in-law will be in our guest room/bed to help take care of things, DH thinks I will just be in our king size bed with him, but I am afraid of the jostling. What has worked for those of you who are post-op?

Thanks, I'm so glad to have this resource.

Re: ISO Recovery Room/Bed Advice

I had no problem sleeping with my DH (I was in the hospital for 3 nights though), and we have a water bed. The jostling did not disturb me too much. Plus, I would take a pain pill before bed and that would get me through the night.
