1 week post op

Hello,
Well, today is 1week post op. I had Tvt, a&p,apical suspension and cysto. This is my second time I have surgery for the prolapse issue. Last surgery was in 08 hyst,posterior repair and sacrocolpophexy failed one that is. So my new doc had to go in and fix the mess....turns out my new doc had to do more than he expected ...ligaments involved involved which caused alot of pain. The vaginal packing is a nightmare! Oh what pain! I ended up stating 2 days in the hospital 1 at home then another 3bad in the hospital for post op fever and infection. They didn't know exactly where the infection was but they think it was the bladder. Anyway, I was a human pin cushion. I am finally home with my kids. I am able to pee on my own :-) Let's hope the rest of my recovery goes smoothly.

2 weeks after surgery and feeling better. Not a lot better but better. I still have a good amount of pain if I "over do it" whatever that means? I am after all a mother of 3 a wife and I have a dog. My hubby has been such a big help! I am shocked..lol I can't wait till I'm able to walk for a good while and not feel like someone hit my vag with a baseball bat! I want to go shopping!!!
