Re: Best Wishes to our November 22 Princesses

I can't believe this day is finally here! I have no bowel prep just nothing to drink after midnight, a small drink of water tomorrow when I take my medicine! Have to be at GBMC at 8:15 for the 9:45 surgery!

I have to be at the castle at 530am for 730am surgery.

Best of luck to all of us scheduled this week and especially for my same date sisters.
And blessings to you, in every step of this process. I guess I'm fortunate that I don't have to be there till 6am for my 0730 start time. I will be thinking of you and the rest of us who will probably be needing thoughts of support and prayers for peace.

Re: Best Wishes to our November 22 Princesses

Ready to hop in the shower & head to the hospital! I had liquids only for Sunday, liquids only and bowel prep on Monday as I am having anterior mesh, posterior mesh, bladder sling and sacral colpopexy plus the total hyster and BSO (breast cancer this past July - don't need those ovaries). I think some of the prep varies with what you're facing.

Ready for no leaking, no trouble with BM's, 3 less years of Tamoxifen for breast cancer and no worry of uterine or ovarian cancer!

BRING IT!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!

Re: Best Wishes to our November 22 Princesses

I'm off to the castle in just under 3 hours...I'm sooooooo nervous :S I've spent the night almost in tears because of cramps, it's almost as if my uterus knows it's being removed so it had to torment me one last night. See all you ladies on the other side! Best of luck to you all

So nervous! My digestive track is what reacts when I am stressed and let's just say I am not sure there is much left for the fleet enema to deal with this morning. After that, shower doush and off we go! See you on the other side!

Twistmel - my preop instructions were the same as yours! I was surprised with the douche + enema combo - I hadn't read about that anywhere on the site before. I'm following behind you, tomorrow. Best of luck today!
